I’ve had so much colossal luck in my life.
Hi, my name is Matthew Scott. I am an artist, photographer, journalist, podcaster, networker. I have been a Santa Cruz resident for 45 years. You may remember me from The Good Times Local Talk, The Bagelry, Farmers Markets, concerts, biking, breweries and disc golf.
I was in a motorcycle accident almost four years ago, July 1, 2022.
I almost died and I feel I was given a 2nd chance.
I have an abstract intuitive mind and my brain suffered a traumatic injury. I am so blessed to have no physical pain in my body, but I am disabled and legally blind.
However, I have optimism and empathy for others who may be suffering.
Since my accident I have been given such tremendous love and support from the Santa Cruz community.
And so in turn, I want to support other people, lifting people up so they can achieve their potential.
I want to be the poster child for traumatic brain injury success.
I love music and I want to be the new Bill Graham.
I want to form a foundation - create a Maker’s Space like the Crucible in Oakland and the Box Shop in San Francisco.
A foundation to include all the arts.
I want to open up for Dave Chappelle and I want to collaborate with Dangermouse. The sky’s the limit. It takes a village.
Consciously seeking like minded collaborators.
